Ok, smoke 'em if you got 'em 'cause this is going to take a minute. I don't like Justin Beiber's music. I think it's homogenized pap. But, that's what sells to the demographic he appears to be going for, the per-adolescent/early adolescent market. And it's a legitimate market. Once tweens start getting out of child's music should they be thrown into adult music? I don't think so. When I was that age I started listening to my older brother's metal, largely Black Sabbath, Osborn, and Jethro Tull (though I would argue Tull isn't that metal). I didn't really enjoy it because I didn't understand it. Now I enjoy it better since my taste's have evolved and I have a better understanding of the things the songs were about.

Would it be nice if tweens had better taste? Yes. I'm personally sick to death of boy bands and related phenomenon. But it isn't going away as it's a niche that needs addressed and filled. And when Beiber's current fan base out grow him, he'll fade like all the others before him and either develop legitimate talent or have to get a job outside of music. I suppose he could be smart and save the money for when his popularity wanes, but he doesn't strike me as that self-aware. And if we kill every no talent hack, what punishment are we going to dole out for people who have really done something wrong?

Lastly, why is everything or everybody people don't like gay? I don't get it. Not only does using that cheapen whatever argument is being made, it cheapens the difficulty being homosexual is in this culture. As for gay musicians, Elton John is about as gay as they come, and I think is music isn't bad. He'll certainly outlast Beiber at any rate.
